After baking, they are glazed with a UV resin, protecting the charm against scratching, yellowing, and water. UV resin gives the charm a glossy appearance, but matte varnish can also be applied for a more realistic look. Subtle translucence and texture give life to these whimsical trinkets.

About Nori

Nori is modeled after a Japanese rice ball, or onigiri (うさぎりんご), a popular bento box side dish. Onigiri are sometimes shaped into cute characters like bears or cats (just like Nori!). Dried seaweed, or nori (海苔), is used to wrap the rice balls and can be cut to add cute features, like eyes and mouths.
